The report stays exactly as it was submitted. This records your determination beside it (Ops Manual 1.10).

Accident: a death or serious injury, damage or structural failure that needs major repair or the part replaced (damage limited to propellers is not an accident), or the aircraft missing. Serious incident: includes any collision with a person, structure, object or terrain that is not an accident. Incident: anything else that affects, or could affect, safety.
